Masters of Physiotherapy at Utas

Alec moved to Tasmania in 2022 to study his Masters of Physiotherapy in Launceston, where he quickly fell in love with the beauty of the state. Originally from Adelaide, he completed his undergraduate in a Bachelor of Science with a major in Therapy Studies. Prior to this, Alec worked as a Remedial Massage Therapist, where he spent 7 years refining his manual therapy techniques, and learning from his physiotherapy colleagues. He emphasises goal-setting to help his patients return to the activities they love and improve their quality of life.

Outside of work, Alec enjoys staying active through a combination of gym, Pilates and social netball. He also has an interest in music, plays the guitar, and enjoys cooking in his spare time.
