Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice – La Trobe University
Isabelle graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2019 where she worked in the public hospital system including outpatient and rehabilitation physiotherapy both in Victoria and Hobart. This sparked a keen interest in neurological physiotherapy where she developed a diverse skill set in the management of neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injury, falls/balance and Parkinson's Disease. Since working at AllCare physio, Isabelle has focused on developing her skill set in the management of persistent post concussion symptoms and the diagnosis and management of dizzy patients such as BPPV (vertigo), vestibular migraines, vestibular neuritis and persistent perceptual postural dizziness. She has completed further training in concussion and vestibular physiotherapy, gaining competency in vestibular dysfunction and management through a clinical competency course by Vestibular Education Australia.
Isabelle loves working with clients towards their individual goals, to ensure they can engage in activities that are meaningful to them and gets particularly excited to see dizzy clients. In addition, she really enjoys taking the powerful Parkinson's classes here at AllCare. Isabelle continues to work casually at the Royal Hobart Hospital where she enjoys engaging with the multi disciplinary team and keeping her “hospital physio” skill set up.
Outside of work Isabelle enjoys making the most of everyday and is always looking to take on a new challenge. Lately, Isabelle has gained her level 2 cert in Ski Instructing, has been running Tassies trails and training for her next triathlon.
